David E Koronet DC

David E Koronet DC founded the Mount Airy Chiropractic Center in February 1991. At the time it was the only chiropractic office within a ten-mile radius of in Mount Airy. The office moved from the Twin Arch Shopping Center to its current location by Watkins Park in May 1998, conveniently close to Route 27.

Dr. Koronet is a graduate of Rutgers University and the National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences). He was certified as a Chiropractic Sports Practitioner in 1992, and as a Clinical Nutritionist in 2000. Dr. Koronet regularly attends classes and workshops on low back care, nutrition, fitness, exercise, and Lyme Disease. He is also a contributor for local newspapers and newsletters on self-care and healing.

Dr. Koronet promotes and supports his profession and community through membership in the Maryland Chiropractic Association, serving on its Executive Council 1992-1996, as well as its membership and Sports Council chairs. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association and its Nutrition Council.. He has earned a variety of awards and recognitions, including “Outstanding Young Men in America” in 1989.He is also active in local arts communities and business associations, serving on the boards of Frederick Acoustic Music Enterprise.

Dr. Koronet has been an avid weightlifter for over 40 years and occasionally competes in road races and triathlons. To fuel those activities, he enjoys cooking creatively with a health-oriented flare. As a side gig, Dr. Koronet performs his own and other writer’s songs locally, and hosts open mcs to encourage local musicians to hone their talents.

Dr. Koronet is the father of two and lives with his wife Ellen in Mount Airy.
